Wat betekent het om thuis te zijn in de provincie Groningen?
Voor de Subjectieve Atlas van Groningen hebben de afgelopen twee jaar meer dan honderd Groningers hun ervaringen in beeld gebracht. Van de schoonheid van het wad tot het uitzichtloze wachten in de azc’s, van verlies en verzwegen geschiedenissen tot stille trots, van de verwoesting door gaswinning tot de kracht van collectieve weerstand: De Subjectieve Atlas van Groningen vormt een intieme en politieke cartografie van thuis-zijn.
Tijdens deze boekpresentatie bladeren we samen door de atlas en vertellen de makers over de door hun verbeeldde verhalen en het maakproces. Na afloop is er ruimte om de atlas te bekijken en met elkaar in gesprek te gaan. Ontdek een caleidoscopisch portret van een provincie die even kwetsbaar als veerkrachtig is.
Een drankje na afloop + €5,00 korting op de atlas zijn inbegrepen in de prijs van je kaartje.
De presentatie van de Subjectieve Atlas van Groningen is een samenwerking tussen ARTisBOOK, Subjective Editions (Annelys de Vet) en Forum Groningen. De publicatie is ontwikkelt in samenwerking met basisschool St. Willibrordus, dorpsbelangen Oudeschip, Geestelijke Verzorging Aardbevingsgebied Groningen, krakers van Groningen, Pittig Gekruid, studenten van Academie Minerva, en de Vrolijkheid.

The Subjective Atlas of Groningen brings together a diverse group of Groningers mapping the province and what it means to be “at home,” in order to share and make visible the personal, but often invisible, experiences of various resident groups in Groningen.
Created through participatory workshops and public activities—including exhibitions, events, and participatory sessions across the province—the project invites local communities to share their stories, becoming visible both physically and online. In seven workshops organized by the partner organizations, approximately 80 participants explored their vision of “being at home” in Groningen. Through creative sessions, they reflected on personal themes and developed visual contributions, fostering interaction and providing space for diverse perspectives and stories.
